MAAsterG's Philosophy

‘Gyan’ or knowledge is categorised broadly into two kinds - One is ‘sansaric gyan’ or the worldly knowledge. This knowledge is generated and acquired through five senses (mind and body) and is the basis of what we call, the world. Second is ‘Atam Gyan’ or the knowledge of that which enables the functioning of the five senses (mind and body). MAAsterG states that ’sansaric gyan’ is temporary. It did not exist before birth and will fade away at death. At death, all relationships and possessions will disappear including the physical body. Therefore, this fleeting knowledge is considered as illusionary.

‘Atam-Gyan’ stays as it was - prior to birth, after death, as well as in between these two. No amount of worldly riches can revive the body after death. Hence, That one source which powers our experience is invaluable. And we spend maximum time without searching for That which is the source (eternal) and in pursuit of that which is fleeting.  When one shifts focus from ‘sansaric’ (worldly) gyan and focuses on getting Atam gyan, one begins to realise the ease of life and immense gratitude arises within. Nothing needs to be renounced and no new skills to be acquired.  Simply with altered understanding of life and witnessing it as life unfolds, acceptance of life’s outcome increases, attachment to desires decreases and transformation happens by itself.
